COVID-19 Updates & Guidelines

We are happy to announce that we are finally accepting new families into RMH Houston’s Holcombe House.

In order to provide a safe environment for our current and future families, our previous admissions process has been adapted. Please contact your hospital social worker for details and/or review criteria on our Holcombe House page.

We are accepting applications from our Texas Medical Center hospitals, referred by a hospital social worker and will accept five new families every Monday to stay at Holcombe House.  In an abundance of caution and to ensure social distancing inside our facility, we are slowly building our capacity. We will keep you all updated as more resources become available to us.

On-Site Family Meal & Activity groups are suspended due to COVID-19

Families still need us. With your help, we can CONTINUE to provide essential meal service for families with vulnerable children CURRENTLY IN HOLCOMBE HOUSE AND OUR HOSPITAL PARTNER PROGRAMS. Your support is more important than ever. Due to visitor restrictions, no volunteer groups are allowed in any RMHH program until it is deemed safe to allow visitors.

Sign-up, and we’ll let you know when restrictions are lifted
