The third phase of construction and renovation has begun – the updating of our 50 existing guest bedrooms! In order to renovate, portions of our House will be unavailable through the completion. Work in the current kitchen and office areas has begun to complete the renovation of the first floor. Meals are needed now even more than ever since our families will not have access to a kitchen during this time frame. Details:
- Our full census is 23 families for the duration of construction. Plan to feed 40-45 people maximum
- Our kitchen will be unavailable from January 2018 until the project is complete.
- All meal groups must cater or pick up commercially prepared food rather than cooking at Holcombe House.
Thank you for your generosity and support of the families who call our House home.

Food Preparation Guidelines:
All meals and snacks must be prepared in their entirety in the Ronald McDonald House kitchen or catered and delivered within a short period of time from a licensed retail food establishment or purchased as a pre-packaged supermarket tray. The group is responsible for providing all food and baking ingredients needed to complete the meal, unless otherwise arranged in advance. We provide the cooking equipment.
The meal and activity schedule is the best way to see what dates are available for your group to volunteer with our families. You may view the calendar only, and indicate your dates of choice when completing your request. Once you’ve read the guidelines and checked the dates, fill out the online Family Activity Form.
