Help Us Create a Home Away From Home for Families
Ronald McDonald House volunteers are a vital source of support to our families.
Individuals can serve at Holcombe House, or at our hospital programs as Welcome Desk Volunteers, or on the support team in our Family Rooms and lounges. This includes offering a warm and welcoming presence, light administrative skills, organizing and replacing fresh linens for bedrooms, setting up donated meals for families, and replenishing food items throughout the Family Rooms located within the hospital.
Most importantly, our volunteers greet our families with a smile and provide kindness are care.
Our volunteers are the heart of the Ronald McDonald House Houston helping to create a home away from home for our families! If you are interested in volunteering with us, please click on the button below to begin the process. Together we can help families when they need us the most.
Throughout the academic year, Ronald McDonald House Houston provides internships to college students. These internships give students the opportunity to gain real world, “hands on” experience that complements their coursework.
We have established formal partnerships with the Bachelors of Social Work program at University of Houston – Downtown and the Master of Social Work program at the University of Houston – Main Campus, that allow students to not only support the Family Support Services Department but also gain skills in assessment, case management and connecting families with services in the community.
If you are interested in learning more about internships at RMHH or have submitted an application for an internship position, please contact email@example.com.
