Welcome our New(ish) Volunteer Coordinator! A little over six months ago, we added a new member to the Volunteer Services team, Rosalind Rolls! As Volunteer Coordinator,
Rosalind’s primary responsibilities are to screen, interview and place volunteers at RMHH’s various locations. In fact, so far in 2018, she has already interviewed 133 volunteer applicants!
As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Rosalind Rolls has had the incredible fortune of working in diverse career fields allowing her to develop a unique skill set. She has held positions in advertising, marketing and nonprofit administration. She worked on advertising campaigns for national chain restaurants, provided marketing consultation to a Fortune 500 company, managed multi-million dollar federally-funded programs and established flagship programs for local community outreach programs.
Rosalind has used her skills in program operations, event execution, collaboration, resource development and community engagement to support corporations, nonprofit organizations and entrepreneurs. Because of her passion and commitment to achieve results, she has developed a track record for successfully creating targeted strategies to realize, and even exceed, goals. She is very excited about her newest opportunity to serve as the Volunteer Coordinator. Rosalind has always been aware of Ronald McDonald House and the organization’s focus. However, after experiencing hospital visits and procedures with some of her relatives, she had a much more personal perspective and became even more intrigued. She knew how much support, teamwork and advocacy was involved in her relatives’ care and thought it would be incredible to be part of team doing so much for families when they need it most.
